The Problem

“Illnesses do not come upon us out of the blue. They are developed from small daily sins against nature. When enough sins have accumulated, illness will suddenly appear.”

— Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine (460- 375 bce)

When the diagnosis finally comes it may be a shock. It may seem “out of the blue”— but it’s not.

The deterioration and breakdown have been happening over time.

Sick is the New Normal

Americans are becoming sick in record numbers while living in the most abundant country in the world. Most Americans are on their way to a major medical problem — or already have one.

Are you on a track toward premature disease, disability, or death … without even knowing it?

Is your quality of life already compromised?

Consider the Numbers

  • Half of American men and one-third of American women will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. More than 600,000 Americans die from cancer (all types) every year.
  • Almost 70% of Americans are overweight or obese.
  • Heart disease is the #1 cause of death in America. About 92 million Americans are living with some form of heart disease or the after-effects of a stroke.
  • More than 86 million American adults (about one in three) have prediabetes — abnormally high blood sugar levels that are not high enough to be classified as type 2 diabetes. Without weight loss and exercise, 15-30% of people with prediabetes will develop type 2 diabetes in five years.
  • Over 29 million Americans have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
  • Approximately 75 million Americans have dangerously high blood pressure. High blood pressure kills 1,100 Americans every day.
  • Another 75 million have higher than normal blood pressure that is not high enough to be called true “high blood pressure.”
  • An estimated 50 million American struggle with an autoimmune disease. The cost of treating autoimmune disease is twice the cost of treating cancer.
  • More 735,000 Americans have a heart attack every year.In 2014, more than 350,000 died from a heart attack. More than 800,000 are estimated to die from heart disease in 2017.
  • Close to 9% of American adults have dementia.
  • The List goes on …

Sadly or thankfully, 80-90 percent of these disease and disability patterns are unnecessary and preventable, and most are reversible.

The following conditions are strong indicators that major disease processes are already at work in your body. They are the medical equivalent of a red “check engine” light on your dashboard.

  • Acid Reflux
  • Acne
  • Bloat
  • Asthma
  • Allergies
  • Brain Fog
  • Chronic Stiffness
  • Constant Fatigue
  • Constipation
  • Depression
  • Diarrhea
  • Digestive Issues
  • Eczema
  • Elevated Blood Pressure
  • Emotional Imbalance or Reactivity
  • Energy Crashes
  • Food Allergies
  • Food Sensitivities
  • Frequent Headaches
  • Gum Disease
  • Joint Pain
  • Physical Weakness

These conditions are part of this “New Normal.” They are your body’s way of telling you that that the early stages of major disease are already happening.
